𝗦𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝘀 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴. 𝗜𝘁’𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗹𝗼𝘂𝗱, 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝗶𝘁’𝘀 𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘆.
In the past few months, I have noticed something. It’s not that I am using AI more. That is obvious.
𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁’𝘀 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗳𝘁: 𝗔𝗺 𝗜 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗸 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗶𝘁, 𝘁𝗼𝗼?
I write down a thought, check how it sounds, and rework my response. Sometimes I pause to see if there’s a better way to say what I already feel.
Gradually, something shifts. It is subtle, almost impossible to notice.
My sentences start to change, responses feel more structured and my thinking feels supported.
At first, it seems like an improvement. But if I keep going, an uncomfortable question starts to come up.
𝗜𝘀 𝗔𝗜 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗸 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗰𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗹𝘆, 𝗼𝗿 𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝘁 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗺𝗲?
“Will AI replace human intelligence?” It might sound like the right question, but it misses what’s really happening.
𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗜 𝘀𝗲𝗲, 𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲𝗱. 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗱, 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗶𝘀 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼𝗴𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿. Getting woven.
Our thinking shapes what AI creates, and then what AI starts to shape how we think. This back-and-forth forms a subtle loop. Once our thinking shifts, it doesn’t just affect work, it quietly spreads into other parts of life.
It changes how we respond to others, how we handle conflicts, and how we understand what is said or left unsaid. These small, repeated shifts often lead to bigger changes.
So, this isn’t just a story about technology anymore. It feels like a change in how we process, respond, and find meaning. The shift happens easily because it seems helpful.
And somewhere in the middle of all this, I keep coming back to one question: 𝗜𝗳 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝘀𝗻’𝘁 𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝘆𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲, 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗱𝗼 𝘄𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝗼𝘄𝗻? In the way we show up. In the way we lead. In the way we relate.
I don’t have an answer yet. But taking a moment to pause feels important.
𝗦𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝘀 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴. 𝗤𝘂𝗶𝗲𝘁𝗹𝘆.
More in my next reflection.
